Peace Official Warns Gaza Ceasefire Could Fail

A peace official warned August 28 that the Gaza ceasefire could fall apart because both sides are not following the agreed plan. He called a return to war "devastating." Israel's leader rejected the plan; Hamas accepted it. Since October 2025, Gaza's Health Ministry says 1,303 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire.
