Meta Agrees to Limit Kids' Time on Facebook and Instagram in the US

Meta has settled with 29 US states. Under the deal, Facebook and Instagram will cap under-18s at two hours per day and block them at night, for five years. Parents can make rules stricter but cannot relax them. The rules apply only in the US. Meta did not admit fault. The UK government already wants similar rules there.
