After a Florida Car Crash, Two Ecuadorian Women End Up in Immigration Custody

After an August 20 car crash in Poinciana, Florida, police asked a hospitalized Ecuadorian mother about her immigration status. The sheriff says she and her daughter stayed in the U.S. past their allowed time. Family says the daughter's permission lasts until 2030 and the mother has a legal case and work permit pending.
