Oil Shipments Could Start Flowing Again as U.S. and Iran Make Peace
A new peace deal between the U.S. and Iran requires Iran to reopen a vital shipping route within 30 days. The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway where about one-fifth of the world's oil travels by ship. Since the conflict started, oil prices and insurance costs for shipping have jumped. Reopening it would ease both. The deal should be signed soon.
