Halo launches on PlayStation 5 alongside Xbox and PC on day one

Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved's campaign by Halo Studios, launched its Standard Edition on July 28, 2026 across PS5, Xbox and PC — the first Halo game on a rival console at release. It is included for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. The PS5 version was announced on the PlayStation Blog in October 2025.
