Banks and agents say Wilson's rent hike claim isn't backed by their work

Shadow treasurer Tim Wilson claimed Ray White backed his warning that Labor's tax changes would hike rents 30%. Ray White and NAB both say they never said that. The 30% was just a what-if number fed into a model, not a real prediction. NAB thinks house prices will actually drop about 7%.
