Report calls for 40 changes to aged care; minister warns it won't be cheap

A government-commissioned review led by former Labour health minister David Cunliffe has made 40 recommendations to fix New Zealand's aged-care system, saying it cannot cope with future demand without major change. Minister for Seniors Casey Costello welcomed the report but warned it carries a "significant price tag." The government has not said which changes it will take up.
