Stolen Art by Famous Painter Matisse Found Near São Paulo

Police found eight stolen art prints by Henri Matisse, a famous 20th-century artist, at a home near São Paulo on August 13, 2026. Thieves had taken them from a city library in December 2024. The prints, worth about $200,000, went back to the library. A fourth suspect was arrested. Five paintings by another artist, Portinari, are still missing.
