Deadly Ebola Outbreak in Congo Is Spreading Faster Than Any Before
Ebola has killed over 2,000 of 4,449 known cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo — spreading faster than any outbreak on record. The World Health Organization warns it may exceed the 2014–2016 West Africa crisis, which killed at least 11,300. No vaccine exists for this strain. Officials expect six to twelve months before the outbreak peaks.
