NASA: 2027 Solar Eclipse Could Last Over Six Minutes in Egypt

NASA says a total solar eclipse on August 2, 2027 will pass over Spain, North Africa, and the Middle East. Near Luxor, Egypt, the Moon will completely cover the Sun for about six minutes and 23 seconds — one of the longest such events this century. The Moon's size and position make the difference.
