Israel's Military to Punish Its Own Soldiers for Failing to Protect Palestinian Families

Israel's military said it will punish soldiers who failed to protect two Palestinian families trapped in their West Bank homes by settlers since Sunday. The military called seizing Palestinian homes "illegal, reprehensible, and unacceptable." A UN official warned the Security Council the West Bank "is at breaking point."
