Researchers at the University of Hong Kong and Jagiellonian University have advanced quantum jamming—a technique that detects intrusions on quantum-encrypted communications by identifying when adversaries destroy particle entanglement. When eavesdroppers attempt to intercept quantum key distribution systems, the measurement necessarily collapses entanglement states, creating detectable signatures.
