South Korea Pulls Leveraged ETF Deposit Rule Forward to July 31

South Korea's FSC moved up its leveraged ETF cash deposit rule to July 31, 2026. Retail investors must now deposit at least KRW 10 million (about USD 7,200) before buying single-stock leveraged products. The threshold applies to both domestically listed and overseas-listed ETFs and ETNs, closing a routing workaround. The cap follows a 2x leverage ceiling set in January 2026.
