Türkiye's Parliament Ratifies Mutual Defence Pact With Saudi Arabia and Pakistan

Türkiye's parliament has ratified, or formally approved, a mutual defence agreement with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, by 279 votes to 119. The Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, signed in August, commits each member to aid another if attacked. Ratification alone does not send Turkish forces; a separate mandate would be needed.
