U.S. Consumers Have Paid an Average of $471 More for Fuel Since the Iran War Began
A Reuters report published October 26 found U.S. consumers have paid an average of $471 more for higher fuel prices since the Iran war began February 28. Tuesday's second straight oil decline, with Brent near $115 a barrel, does not reduce that total. Household costs keep accumulating while futures move day to day.
