Novelist Diana Reid made screenplay debut on Oakley's Sense and Sensibility

Novelist Diana Reid wrote her first screenplay for director Georgia Oakley's 2026 Sense and Sensibility, Variety reported on 19 October 2026. Reid told Variety producer India Flint suggested she adapt Jane Austen's 1811 novel and that she pitched a structure to Working Title, which accepted it.
