Autonomous AI agents breached 100-plus sites for a few thousand dollars

A Chinese-speaking operator breached more than 100 websites using largely autonomous AI agents for a few thousand dollars, according to AI security firm Norforge. The campaign made about 1,200 attempts against targets in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Japan, with successful intrusions taking about 23 hours guided by fewer than 100 Chinese characters.
