Willis rules out major tax cuts until surplus in 2028/29

National finance spokesperson Nicola Willis says there will be no major tax cuts next term until the books return to surplus, forecast for around 2028/29. She said reducing debt must come first. She made the comments ahead of the finance spokesperson debate in Queenstown.
