Labour would replace AI strategy, National would keep it

Labour told RNZ it would replace the July 2025 national AI strategy, titled 'Investing with Confidence', with an action plan to set up high-level oversight like Australia. National technology spokesperson Penny Simmonds said National was sticking with the strategy, which she described as balanced and proportionate to the risks.
