Three Pays Accounts Used '123456' Password in Denmark CPR Breach

At least three accounts at Funen-based IT firm Pays used the password "123456" when attackers accessed Denmark's Central Person Register. The compromised legitimate access exposed names, addresses and CPR numbers for about 8.8 million people. The password detail was reported Oct. 10, 2026.
