E del Mundo to close financing on Maguindanao massacre debut at Busan market

E del Mundo will pitch debut feature “Once Upon a Time in the Philippines” at Busan’s Asian Project Market, Variety reported on Oct. 11, 2026. Inspired by the 2009 Maguindanao massacre, the project is in advanced financing. The team aims to close the remaining gap in Busan and move into production.
