South Korea pledges legal action if illegal fuel shipments to Russia confirmed
South Korea's Foreign Ministry said Oct. 8 it will take legal action over illegal fuel shipments to Russia if confirmed, saying it had not verified claims South Korean diesel reached Russia. The allegation by adviser Vladyslav Vlasiuk cites 176,000 tonnes shipped via sanctioned tankers in July-August. Seoul notes commercial diesel and jet fuel are not on its Russia export-control list.
