France pauses stun grenade use against student protesters

France said Oct. 7 it was pausing police use of stun grenades against student protesters. The decision followed reports of serious injuries, including eye injuries, broken teeth and blows to the head, during protests over high school conditions and funding. The pause applies to student protest policing as the mobilization continues.
