DNC Sues Trump Administration Over Taxpayer-Funded Pro-Trump TV Ads

The Democratic National Committee sued the Trump administration Oct. 7 in U.S. District Court in Washington, asking a judge to block taxpayer-funded TV ads promoting Donald Trump. The complaint alleges the spots violate the ban on using appropriated money for 'publicity or propaganda' and says Customs and Border Protection ran the campaign.
