DNC Sues Over Taxpayer-Funded Ads Promoting Trump

The Democratic National Committee sued the Trump administration Oct. 7 in federal court in Washington, seeking to stop TV ads promoting Donald Trump paid for with public money. The party claims the ads, which it says were run by Customs and Border Protection, break the law barring government funds for political publicity.
