DNC Sues Trump Administration Over $20M Taxpayer-Funded Ads

The Democratic National Committee sued the Trump administration on Oct. 7 over $20 million in taxpayer-funded TV ads. The DNC alleges President Trump personally ordered the spending to promote his policies, using funds Congress approved for border-security commemorative activities. The administration calls the ads promotion for the country. A court will now decide whether the spending was legal.
