ICE begins trading gold futures in London

Intercontinental Exchange has begun trading gold futures in London, according to Financial Times reporting published Oct. 6, 2026. Gold futures are standardized contracts to buy or sell gold for future delivery. I'm watching whether activity holds, as persistence will show if hedgers actually use the contract.
