Dodik Declares Bosnia 'Dead' Ahead of Oct. 4 Election

Milorad Dodik, SNSD leader and former Republika Srpska president, told supporters in Banja Luka ahead of Bosnia's October 4 election: "Bosnia-Herzegovina is dead. It is an impossible country, it makes no sense." Bosnia elects its three-member presidency and parliaments under the 1995 Dayton power-sharing system. The result could affect its EU bid.
