Splice Acquires Spitfire Audio

Splice has acquired Spitfire Audio, according to a Verge interview with CEO Kakul Srivastava published Oct. 3, 2026. Splice offers millions of royalty-free samples via its beta Sounds Plugin inside users' DAWs. In this author's view, owning more of the sample chain gives Splice leverage on licensing trust.
