Veterans, lawmakers protest Trump's proposed 250-foot arch at Memorial Circle

Dozens of veterans, Democratic lawmakers and supporters gathered Oct. 1 at Memorial Circle in Washington, D.C., to protest President Trump's proposed 250-foot arch, billed as "Vets over Vanity." Sen. Tammy Duckworth and Rep. Don Beyer spoke. The White House said the arch will "enhance the visitor experience" at Arlington National Cemetery.
