Two township mass shootings hours apart kill 28 in South Africa

Two mass shootings hours apart in South African townships killed 28 people on Sept. 27, striking the country's two main cities. Seventeen died in a tavern attack in Wedela, Gauteng near Johannesburg. Fourteen more were injured, the BBC reported. Splitting detectives and forensics across two scenes could complicate the early investigation.
