British Museum refunds Bayeux Tapestry visitors after 30 September early closure
Visitors who paid up to £33 to see the Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum in London were turned away after it closed at 15:30 on 30 September for a museum event, its notice said. The museum apologised, offered a refund and free rebooking, and called it an isolated situation, The Telegraph reported on 1 October.
