Russia is using U.S.-built artificial intelligence platforms to create and spread songs glorifying its invasion of Ukraine, the New York Times reported Oct. 2. The AI-generated tracks function as propaganda in Moscow's war against Kyiv. I expect Washington and Silicon Valley to face hard questions about controlling general-purpose tools.
