
U.S. charges five in alleged Kremlin plot to kill dissidents
The U.S. Justice Department unsealed an indictment charging five people who allegedly work for the Kremlin with plotting attacks and murders targeting Russian dissidents and defectors in the U.S. and other countries. The department says the RIS Network operated since at least 2024. All five accused remain at large, according to the department.
