MSG Sports Board Approves Rangers Spin-Off From Knicks

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. said Sept. 30, 2026 its board approved spinning off the New York Rangers business from the Knicks business. The NYSE-listed company, known as MSG Sports, would split into two separate teams. I see the appeal for investors wanting pure exposure, but costs and debts still need dividing.
