Six traffickers convicted in Paris over Channel sinking that killed 31

Six traffickers were convicted of involuntary homicide in Paris after a four-week trial over the 24 November 2021 Channel sinking that killed 31 migrants. Sentences ranged from six to 10 years. Seven others received up to four years; one was acquitted. The case concerned the deadliest small-boat crossing between France and Britain.
