Macron says 'Welcome back' to possible UK return to EU

French President Emmanuel Macron said "Welcome back" in Madrid on Sept. 30 after UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham suggested Britain could rejoin the EU. Macron said a British return would be very good news for France and Europeans. The exchange follows Burnham's claim Brexit had done more harm than good.
