Charter Space Raises $5M Seed Led by Crystal Venture Partners

El Segundo-based Charter Space raised a $5 million seed round led by Crystal Venture Partners to grow its space insurance business. QED, Blank Ventures, Hustle Fund and Gaingels participated. Founder Yuk Chi Chan leads the company, which says it services over 50 space and defense firms after launching its nationally licensed brokerage in May.
