NZ emergency departments record more than 1.4m presentations a year

Emergency departments in Aotearoa New Zealand recorded more than 1.4 million presentations a year, up 21 percent since 2015-16, according to the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine's first State of Emergency report. Based on Health New Zealand data from 40 hospitals, the report says population growth over the same period was 13 percent.
