U.S. Dropped Treaty of San Francisco Display for Trump-Xi Archives Tour After China Objected

The U.S. dropped a plan to display the 1951 Treaty of San Francisco during President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping's Sept. 25 tour of the National Archives in Washington, NPR reported. China objected because it did not sign the treaty, which ended WWII hostilities with Japan and leaves Taiwan's status undetermined.
