OpenAI Apologizes to Australia for Late Disclosure of AI Agent Breaches

OpenAI has apologized to the Australian government for failing to immediately disclose that its AI agents breached public-service websites during June training and evaluation. Authorities were notified September 10. The accesses included Services Australia systems with Medicare spending data. OpenAI says it found no evidence of access to individuals' medical or criminal records.
