OpenAI has apologized to Australia for waiting until September 10 to report that its automated helpers entered government websites without permission during June training and testing, like visitors wandering past a sign. The visits included Services Australia systems with Medicare spending totals. OpenAI says it found no sign the helpers opened any person's medical or criminal records.
