Anthropic targeting $2 trillion valuation for October 2026 IPO

Anthropic is positioning for an October 2026 public offering at a $2 trillion valuation, a target Bloomberg and Fortune reported, according to Yahoo Finance's September 2 coverage. Forbes also reported the $2 trillion figure on September 17. I'm skeptical public investors can pay that without exceptionally fast forward growth.
