Goldman Sachs Names President John Waldron to Board

Goldman Sachs named President and COO John Waldron to its board of directors, Banking Dive reported Feb. 27, 2025. David Solomon is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, according to Goldman Sachs. The Wall Street Journal in 2023 called Waldron Solomon's second in command and 'considered a top contender.' I see closer board exposure, not a succession decision.
