US lists 1,600 Chinese goods for tariff waivers, China lists 77 US goods

The U.S. recommended tariff waivers — exemptions from import taxes — for more than 1,600 Chinese goods, including toys, fireworks, Christmas tree lamps and children's car seats. China listed 77 U.S. goods, including agricultural goods, wood and cosmetics. I read this as relief for everyday shoppers on the U.S. side, and for farmers and producers on China's.
