Incoming PSC chief says Palestine has become UK electoral issue for first time

Aimee Shalan, incoming director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, told The Guardian that "Palestine has for the first time in British history become a domestic issue electorally at national and local level." She spoke before a PSC protest at the Labour conference, citing pro-Palestinian breakthroughs in the 2024 general and 2026 local elections.
