Five arrested on terrorism suspicion near RAF Fairford

Five men from London were arrested in Whelford, near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, on Sunday on suspicion of explosives and terrorism offences. Explosives were found nearby. Armed officers made arrests after suspicious vehicles were reported heading toward the US-used base. Homes were evacuated Sunday; Whelford remained closed Monday afternoon.
