Five Arrested Near Air Base After Explosives Found

Five men from London were arrested Sunday in Whelford, close to RAF Fairford, an air base in Gloucestershire used by the United States. They are suspected of terrorism and explosives crimes. Explosives were found nearby. Armed police stopped them after suspicious cars were seen heading to the base. Homes were cleared Sunday; the village stayed closed Monday afternoon.
