House Appropriators Demand White House Take Down Taxpayer-Funded Trump Ad

Top House appropriators demanded Sept. 25 that the White House immediately take down a taxpayer-funded ad promoting President Donald Trump. The lawmakers said the spot violates Section 718 of Division E of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026, according to a statement from House Appropriations Democrats.
