Anand tells UN Canada will reduce economic reliance on U.S.

Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand told the UN General Assembly Canada can no longer afford to be overly reliant on any one partner. She said Ottawa is diversifying ties with new and old partners under values-based realism while reducing economic reliance on the United States. She did not name the U.S. when criticizing great powers.
